Hello Syd,
I found your wonderful website quite by accident after clicking your name to a comment you left on the Beyond The Fringe blog — the one with the maps of Palestine 1947-2005. You express yourself exceedingly well. I hope you’ll have the time to post more frequently, as I’m just going through your archives and I noticed you had a huge gap during 2008.
I grew up in England until my mid-20s, which is when I moved to USA. It’s really bad here Syd, with respect to the stranglehold of the Zionist machinery. I am too cowardly to expose myself individually, as I fear them and how they target and destroy even ordinary people like me (the situations in Paul Findley’s “They Dare To Speak Out” still occur — I personally know many people in USA who’ve become targets of the Zionist support system, and their lives ruined).
The most I do is send donations to organisations that have not yet been declared supporters of terrorism by the Yanks (such as the traversty against HLF, intiated by the Zionist lobby), and attend the odd protest in XXXXXXXX, near where I live.
It’s become really scary to send money for aid to the Palestinians — they’re not alone; you know about these loony Yanks’ policy re Cuba, don’t you, and towards Chavez).
Thus, I’m so grateful to people like you plugging away all round the world to battle the worse-than-apartheid of the Israelis, and identifying yourselves too.
I keep promising myself I’ll return to England and become active in countering the deceit of the Zionist and Israeli entities. I feel a lot less vulnerable there — it’s my home, and there seems to be a cushion against Zionist virulency.
I’ve posted a couple of comments as XXXXXX on the Suspect Paki blog. They’re not written with the finesse you display, but the anger and pain inside me has lasted so long, and I have felt helpless as a human being all the time I’ve been in the US, beginning with the joint UK-US assault on Iraq in the so-called first Gulf war.
I remember a courageous reporter interviewing Ramsey Clark on NPR (publically-funded radio) and hearing about his book “The Fire This Time”. But this reporter was fired soon after, and NPR has reverted to the same cowardly pro-Israeli coverage of news since then. The joke is, that the Zionists consider USA’s NPR and the BBC to be routinely anti-Israeli! Ha! — these media outlets that report Israel “entering” Lebanon; prefix Hamas with “militant”, etc etc.
By the way, I wanted to provide a link to your blog to the Suspect Paki website I visit, but I do not want to do so without your permission (Yes, fine by me! – Syd), for I fear you will be in the crosshairs of the Zionists, who have this worldwide network they appear to be able to effectively mobilise anytime anyone writes or does anything to expose their activities. Not by counter-reasoning, but by a wholesale clampdown via their labelling as “anti-semite”, “terrorist”, or “terrorist-supporter”.
Fighting South African apartheid, a movement I actively took part in the UK of the mid-70s, was a piece of cake compared to knowing how to deal with the Zionists.
Thanks for providing an opportunity to connect with you via this contact link, and for your wonderful blog!
I just wanted an opportunity to say people like me are so grateful to people like you.
Regards,
