I’d always thought, when watching Fox News, that it seems excessively hard on Israel and lenient towards Muslims. Now I know why.

The stories in Crikey, while more informative than this short item, do lack the News Corp touch when it comes to headlining.

‘Murdoch al-Qaida Link Shock!’ is much better.

When intending to shock the punters, it’s best to tell them to be shocked! Rupert’s backers figured that out decades ago. It’s about time the progressive media catches up.

On a serious note, one wonders what on earth a self-respecting Saudi Prince is doing with a huge investment in Murdoch’s foul, war mongering, slavishly pro-Zionist media empire? At first glace, he should be thoroughly ashamed of himself. What a suckholing shyster!

But it’s best to give billionaires the benefit of the doubt. I hope Al-Waleed bin Talal is really part of a Bin Laden plot to dump vast quantities of News Corp shares on the market at a critical moment, rendering the entire rotten outfit bankcrupt at a single stroke.

Perhaps this sounds far fetched, but remember that Al Qaida, under the elusive Mr Bin Laden’s able leadership, has a track record of achieving the miraculous.
