Dr Graeme MacQueen’s eloquent introduction to the International Hearings on the Events of September 11, 2001 (Toronto Hearings) is a useful starting point for those unfamiliar with this recent event…

On the third day of the hearings, Dr Niels Harrit gave a presentation. If you’re not familiar with Dr Harrit‘s work from previous material on this website – or from other sources – I suggest watching the whole video (see below). Including questions and answers, it takes approximately two hours.

If you don’t have time, the part of the video most directly relevant to this particular article begins at 53 mins 45 secs, when Dr Harrit discusses the human health consequences of breathing dust from the collapsed WTC. His discussion on that subject runs for approximately 15 minutes at the end of his speech.

The key point is that carbon nanotubes have been found in lung tissue from first responders(‘first responders are the heroic folk who pitched in, immediately after the 9/11 debacle, to help with rescue and clean up).

It’s estimated at least 60,000 workers contributed in the early and most dangerous stages.

For the 9/11 mass-murderers, the writing is on the wall

As I pointed out in a previous article, Blind Freddy himself could deduce on the day that the dust was dangerous. Even so, Bush Administration EPA chief Christie Whitman gave some unequivocal guarantees, as early as September 15th:

“I am glad to reassure the people of New York and Washington, D.C. that their air is safe to breathe and their water is safe to drink…. The concentrations are such that they don’t pose a health hazard…We’re going to make sure everybody is safe“

It was a scandalous deception that probably contributed to very lax protective measures taken by clean-up workers and their supervisors. Many workers had no respirators. Some breathed the foul air directly.

The dust must have included all sorts of extremely unpleasant things, including particles of asbestos. Small wonder there’s been an epidemic of disease among the surviving first responders. Last year, Congress finally granted funds for the health care of first responders. It was late in coming and less than what’s needed, but amazingly it represented the first tangible gesture to compensate tens of thousands of Americans initially lionized as heroes, then discarded like garbage.

However, Dr Harrit’s explosive new information, shared with the conference, is that carbon nanotubes have been found in the lung tissue of first responders. The discovery was made by a group of doctors at Mount Sinai Medical School in Manhatten and published last year in the journal Experimental Health Perspectives. These highly unusual tiny threads of carbon are not ‘normally’ found in lung tissue – even in the lung tissue of people who’ve contracted severe lung dieseases. Dr Harrit’s hypothesis is that carbon nanotubes were formed during the microscopic thermitic reactions that took place when the three buildings were brought down in controlled demolitions.

If that hypothesis is correct (the wording is mine, not Dr Harrit’s), first responders carry, within their lungs, the signature trace of the murder weapon.

This must surely provide the basis for the biggest and most important ‘class action’ in US/world history?

If such an action is feasible (why wouldn’t it be?), I believe it should be taken by and on behalf of the first responders against a range of co-defendants: the US Government, the State of Israel, the WTC leaseholders, key elements in the mass media, key security companies and others.

We need the same quality of information, analysis and dialog observed at the Toronto Hearings in a court of law.. a court with subpoena powers and the authority to question witnesses under oath.

The tragedy of the first responders’ poisoned lungs cannot be overlooked. It must be satisfactorily explained.

Those responsible for the poisoning must compensate the victims.

Justice may be blind, but this new information will surely wake up Americans. The villains who try to make fools out of America’s iconic heroes have certainly fooled some of the people, some of the time – but their lucky run has come to an end.

Last week, between September 8th and 11th 2011, an exceptional event took place in Canada: the International Hearings on the Events of September 11, 2001 (Toronto Hearings).

On Saturday 10th by Dr Niels Harrit gave a presentation entitled Incendiary/Explosive Residue in the WTC Dust. In the subsequent question and answer session, he was asked about co-operation with Dr Judy Wood.

Dr Wood is also a critic of the official explanation for the events of 9/11, but disputes the approach taken by the Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth.

While dismissive of the remarkable empirical evidence that indicates hi-tech (but non-nuclear) explosives/incendiaries were used to demolish the three WTC buildings 1, 2 & 7 – she proposes instead that these structures were demolished by ‘Directed Energy Weapons’.

I can say from personal observation that the quest for the truth about 9/11 has been hampered from the outset by disinformation agents.

When Obama appointee Dr Cass Sunstein famously called in 2008 for“cognitive infiltration’ of networks such as the 9/11 Truth Movement, he was not proposing a new idea. On the contrary, the ’9/11 Truth Movement’ has been infiltrated – to a degree – throughout the entire decade since September 11th 2001.

It is to the very great credit of the people who emerged as leaders of the movement – people of the high distinction of Dr Neils Harrit, Dr Stephen Jones, Richard Gage and Dr David Ray Griffin – they they have still managed to build a highly credible movement in these very difficult circumstances.

The Toronto Hearings were historic. The event was streamed live on the internet, and a set of videos from the proceedings are available online already.

For ten years now, mainstream western culture has had a new icon: 9-11.

Each year brings a torrent of new propaganda to memorialize the official myth. This year – the tenth anniversary - will possibly be the worst yet.

I’m one of the millions around the world who believes the official narrative about 9-11 is a pack of disgusting lies. Unsure how to ‘celebrate’ a decade of man-made atrocities following the man-made disaster of 9-11 itself, today I came across a documentary about 9-11 I’d never seen before.

What elephant?

The movie below by young British filmmaker Dean Puckett is not new. It won a London Independent Film Festival award for best UK documentary of the year in April 2008 (see this brief video from that time, including a short interview with the film-maker). Even so, if you also haven’t viewed it before, I strongly recommend it!

The interview with the British database administrator Scott Forbes, who worked in the WTC South Building at the time of 9/11, was a particular highlight for me. I’d never before seen a first-hand account which so clearly indicates activities were underway in the WTC in days preceding the buildings’ collapse that were consistent with the theory of planned controlled demolition. (The segment with Mr Forbes begins just over 12 minutes into the movie).

Mr Puckett explains it’s not intended as a film about his own views; it’s about views within the grassrooots “9-11 Truth movement” (which has become a global phenomenon). It’s also a film about the first responders in New York City, their appalling and worsening ill-health – and the shockingly poor treatment they’ve received from the US Government.

For Dean Puckett, the “Elephant In The Room” is the failure of mainstream media to report on the existence of these (overlapping) groups of people. People working in mainstream media know very well these people (we) exist. But both have gone largely unreported. The plight of 9-11 first responders has been downplayed to a quite disgraceful extent. The 9-11 truth movement has either been ignored, misrepresented or ridiculed.

This is the story of people whose existence, it seems, is too inconvenient for western mass media to mention.

The Elephant in the Room is a documentary following British filmmaker Dean Puckett through his journey into the 9/11 Truth Movement: a global movement of ‘conspiracy theorists’ who believe that the official explanation about what happened on 9/11 is totally or partially inaccurate.

The filmmakers travel from middle England, across Europe and to New York for the six year anniversary of the attacks, where the film takes one final twist as we are introduced to the 9/11 first responders who are suffering from various grave health difficulties due to the toxic dust that they breathed in trying to help their country during the weeks after this tragic event.

Told with a personal hands on approach that avoids advancing any one position, the film asks the question: are these crazy conspiracy theorists? Or is 9/11 Truth a credible political movement?

The film premiered at the BFI on the Southbank in London – winning Best UK Documentary at the London Independent Film Festival 2008.

Does Al Qaeda really exist?

Opinions vary widely.

Muammar Ghadafi appears to think so – and I take his opinion seriously. I’ve noticed Ghadafi  has been willing to discuss quite a few subjects – such as Israel’s likely role in the JFK assassination – that are apparently too complex or scary for other world leaders.

Yet on the existence of Al Qaeda, I’ve long had my doubts. Perhaps I can say I’m ‘agnostic’ about the existence of the greatest bogey of our era?

Quoting former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook, Cynthia McKinney wittily remarked that “Al Qaeda is like the CIA’s Rolodex”. I think that may be close to the truth. If so, Al Qaeda might also be re-named ‘Rent-a-Mob-of-Islamic-Extremists’.

There do appear to be a number of regionally-focused Islamic extremist organisations around the world whose existence is rather more tangible. Some of those groups may well collaborate from time to time. That’s as much as I’m willing to say I believe in relation to the existence of ‘Al Qaeda’, without further evidence. And of course, only fools think Al Qaeda was the organisation that planned and executed 9-11. In that case, its function was merely to serve as patsy.

Western Governments have been keeping an eye on actual Islamic extremist organisations for decades. The British Government has a published list of proscribed terrorist organisations (many, but not all, are ‘Islamist’). The list mostly pre-dates 9-11.

One of these listed terrorist groups is the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). This is what Her Majesty’s Government has to say about it:

The LIFG seeks to replace the current Libyan regime with a hard-line Islamic state. The group is also part of the wider global Islamist extremist movement, as inspired by Al Qa’ida. The group has mounted several operations inside Libya, including a 1996 attempt to assassinate Mu’ammar Qadhafi.

Given this background, a recent report in the New York Times - Exiled Islamists Watch Rebellion Unfold at Home - is noteworthy, to say the least. Here’s how it begins:

Abu Sohaib spends most of his time online these days, following the news from his native Libya. He is in constant contact with friends on the ground there, helping them map out strategy to fight the rule of Col. Ghadafi.

“I would like to be there myself; I tried to go,” he said, pausing to look at the car keys in front of him. “But Tunisia and Egypt wouldn’t let me in even after their revolution.”

Abu Sohaib, his nom de guerre, is on a watch list for suspected terrorists not only in Libya and its neighboring countries, but also in some European countries. He is a senior commander of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, a former militant organization that once was aligned with Al Qaeda. The New York Times is withholding his real name because he said he fears for his safety.

Now isn’t that thoughtful? To help a man who’s active in an organisation that’s on the UK’s proscribed terrorist group list, the New York Times keeps his name confidential. So considerate!

It occurred to me rather odd the British authorities don’t seem to mind… until I read further and discovered the article is actually written from London.

‘Abu Sohaib’, in other words, is living in the capital city of the very nation that designated his organisation ‘terrorist’: His colleagues travel from London to Libya at will:

Here in London, Abu Sohaib and a dozen or so former commanders make up a rear-guard headquarters of sorts, with some members shuttling between London and Benghazi to strategize and share donations collected from the sizable Libyan expatriate community in Britain.

So there we have it! It’s not too hard to get the hang of this new reality. There’s not much to learn; not a lot to forget.

NATO is at War with Libya. NATO has Always been at War with Libya.

NATO is not at War with Al Quaeda. NATO has Never been at War with Al Quaeda.
