Some people believe that every story churned out by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation newspapers is complete rubbish.
I think that’s unfair.
In the interests of demonstrating this blog is ‘fair and balanced‘, here’s a story from the Murdoch media that’s (a) interesting (b) well-written and (c) amusing.
See Polly the dog swallows 1000 magnets, computer mouse and gloves.
It also has a happy ending.
The only missing ingredient is a reason why the gourmand Blue Healer swallowed 1,000 magnets. I have a theory about that.
I bet Polly became attracted to dogs wearing magnetic collars.

Hello Syd,
So good to have a good laugh…… I just happened to have a slight disagreement (assertive argument) today with my sister. She said that all I do is crap on about “my” conspiracy theories. I shot back quickly saying, no, I’m talking about conspiracies. Later I said to her that she is also one to have theories about the world.
I mentioned about Senator Conroy still not releasing the results of the mandatory internet filter trails and again Senator Conroy calling those who are demanding freedom of speech (to hold an opinion), child abuse supporters. She then said, “who is Senator Conroy?”
I realized it was pointless to mention to her the dangers of allowing government total control in the dissemination of information without any transparency or oversight.
Do you have similar discussions or confrontations with your own family members?
