Hustling the East

Hustling the East

July 2009: record death toll for invading troops in an eight year war... who's counting Afghan casualties?

And the end of the fight is a tombstone white
With the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear:
“A fool lies here
Who tried to hustle the East”

Agent Gordon is still reliable
Jul 17th, 2009 by Syd Walker

Even though he’s a bumbling, arrogant, ridiculous humbug of a man, steering his political party towards doom and his nation to financial and moral perdition, Gordon Brown remains in power… just.

Brown is politically weak – and he gets by one long week at a time. Amazing really, that the British Labour caucus puts up with it.

Naively, one might think it’s even more amazing Brown isn’t the butt of a sustained mass media campaign to bring him down. Media magnate Rupert Murdoch for one knows very well how to do that. He did it to the Whitlam Government in Australia in the 1970s. In Britain, he vilified Labor in the late 1970s and 1980s – then dumped on the Tories in 1996 (once Labour was back in safe ‘New’ hands).

So why hasn’t this chronically unpopular Prime Minister already been run to ground, with the assistance of a media pack smelling blood?

Gordon must be doing something right. Presumably, he’s continuing to sell out British civil liberties and national interests at a faster rate than his opponents could be expected to match?

Tory Leader David Cameron has been groomed to say the right things about Israel and the current spate of Zionist-inspired wars – and most of the right things about civil liberties – so a relief team is waiting in the wings. But there’s nothing quite so useful as a deeply compromised Prime Minister who’s also politically on the nose. In the ‘Westminster system’. they are the easiest PMs of all to manipulate, for obvious reasons.

Last month Redress Information & Analysis ran an illuminating article. It shows that while the British electorate long ago tired of the Gordon Brown Show, he still dances a merry tune for his puppet masters.

As far as I’ve noticed, there’s been precious little criticism of this outrageously biased appointment from either ‘right’ or ‘left’ in the British mainstream media.

Apparently it’s not ‘newsworthy’ if a leading Jewish Zionist is appointed to a senior post in the British Government  “with responsibility for Middle East policy, Iraq, Iran, counterterrorism and Anglo-American relations“.

If the Israelis adopted a similar approach, they’d put known sympathizers of the current Iranian Government in charge of their policy towards Iran.

Funnily enough, no-one expects them to do this.

Gordon Brown puts Israel lobbyist in charge of Britain’s Middle East policy

By Redress Information & Analysis – 11 June 2009

Britain’s prime minister has put a notorious pro-Israel lobbyist in charge of policy in the Middle East, Iraq and Iran, reaffirming his determination to continue with his Zionist policies even as his administration approaches the end of its life.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has appointed an Israeli agent of influence and proponent of genocide in Gaza to a key position at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Britain’s foreign ministry.

Ivan Lewis MP

Ivan Lewis MP: the sleazy Zionist recently appointed to a key policy role by Grown Brown

On 9 June, Ivan Lewis was given a major promotion in Mr Brown’s government when he was appointed Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with responsibility for Middle East policy, Iraq, Iran, counterterrorism and Anglo-American relations. According to one source, he is now “just one step away from the cabinet”.

Speaking after his promotion, Mr Lewis said: “My responsibility for the Middle East peace process is particularly poignant. I have never hidden my pride at being Jewish or my support for the State of Israel”.

According to the Independent newspaper, Mr Lewis’s appointment has “raised eyebrows in the Foreign Office”. It said:

Lewis has a long history of interest in the region as vice-chair of the Labour Friends of Israel. Earlier this year, he became – not without controversy – one of the most outspoken political supporters of Israel’s military assault on Gaza. Critics can’t help but wonder how objective Lewis is likely to be in his new post.

Mr Lewis is also a trustee of the Holocaust Educational Trust, a body founded in 1988 by British pro-Israel lobbyists Greville Janner and Merlyn Rees with the aim of maintaining a culture of gentile guilt and Jewish victimhood in British schools.

Ivan Lewis’s support for the racist state of Israel and for the genocide in Gaza is not the only example of his questionable morality.

In 2007, when he was junior health minister, he was forced to apologise to a civil servant, Susan Mason, after she told managers she was unhappy with the nature of their relationship.

It emerged that Mr Lewis, who at the time was 40 years old, had been sexually harassing Ms Mason, aged 23, with numerous smutty text messages. After complaining to her bosses, Mr Lewis’s victim was moved to a different job before resigning from the Civil Service. Speaking of her former boss, she said: “He wasn’t the nicest man to work for.”

A year earlier, Mr Lewis had walked out on his wife of 16 years, Juliette, and their two sons, aged nine and 11, in order to have an affair with a 50-year-old councillor, Margaret Gibb.

A report from late June in the international Zionist news service JTA gives an idea of the kind of activity Mr Lewis may be performing while in the employ of Her Majesty’s Government, funded by the British taxpayer. Foreign Secretary David Milibrand sent his off to kick heads in the British trade union movement over seditious ideas such as Boycotting Israel.

Boycott Apartheid Israel!

Boycott Apartheid Israel!

It sounds like the overlord wannabees are getting tetchy about boycotts. I guess it’s not just that boycotts can hurt the Israeli economy. They also remind everyone of South Africa – 25 years ago an apartheid State armed with nuclear weapons (developed with Israeli assistance) that chose the path of genuine reconciliation and reformed itself quickly into a single democratic State, with one person one vote for all.

Brown, Miliband, Lewis and the Zionist power-brokers behind them wouldn’t want that to happen to the supremacist, nuclear-armed State of Israel, would they?

I’d like to think the British trade unionists told Lewis that tribal bias impairs his judgment and showed him the door.

Britain’s Miliband raps Israel boycott efforts

June 23, 2009

LONDON (JTA) — Britain’s foreign secretary expressed dismay that British trade unions are discussing motions calling for boycotts of Israel.

“The government is dismayed that motions calling for boycotts of Israel are being discussed at trade union congresses and conferences this summer,” David Miliband said Tuesday in a statement.

The statement said that Ivan Lewis, the minister responsible for the Middle East, would meet with leaders of trade unions this week to discuss the issue “to make clear the Government’s firm belief that calls for boycotts of Israel cannot and do not contribute to peace.”

Miliband said the economic, academic and cultural boycotts “obstruct opportunities for cooperation and dialogue, and serve only to polarize debate further. Boycotts would only make it harder to achieve the peace that both Palestinians and Israelis deserve and desire.”

Lewis, who is Jewish, was chief executive of the Manchester Jewish Federation before he was elected to the parliament. Last month he was appointed Minister of State at the foreign office.
