Hello Notsilvia Night.

Interesting link. I absolutely love the Mamas' and the Papas'. Stephen Still classic 'For What It’s Worth' makes me want to join a revolution. I love 'Our House' by CSNY. I will just say one this at this moment. I believe that change somehow makes it way into the lyrics of music without an artist fully being aware of it.

Having explored the Hippie movement recently with a concerning eye, your link and it's content is disturbing and disheartening. This is the music that changed my life for the better.

Hi Syd
Yeah, the lyrics are haunting
I´ve got a link for you, if you are interested. It´s a series of articles investigating the life and connections of the all those 60s bands. There are quite a few rather strange coincidences and connections. It might be interesting for someone who investigates conspiracy theories. Of course, as with any theory, it could be wrong and coincidences do occur
But if you are a real fan of those 60 rock-bands it might be a bit hurtful to look at this website.
Anyway here it is:

Inside The LC: The Strange but Mostly True Story of Laurel Canyon and the Birth of the Hippie Generation

Hello Syd,

The lyrics for 'Riders of the Storm' are very abstract. The words and phrases move me and connect with something but I have no idea yet why. Maybe I can feel the rebellion from him.

I am aware that Jim Morrison grew up with a father in the military. He had to move as a child many times to go where his father was serving.

I love the Doors on vinyl. Do you have vinyl records Syd?

BTW, yes, nothing to say on Aldous Huxley. :-)
