A Tourist Map for the Holy Father
May 7th, 2009 by Syd Walker

Archbishop Theodosius

Archbishop Theodosius: “let the Pope begin his visit with Gaza first”

His Holiness The Pope, against the advice of some local Christians, is making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land early next week.

He will not be visiting Gaza.

Some of the places he does plan to visit – sites of sacred significance to people of Christain Faith – are in Eastern Palestine.

The Pontiff will need a good up-to-date map.

Below is the best I’ve been able to find: The Achipelago of Eastern Palestine, prepared by French cartographer Julien Bousac.

It’s explained at Strange Maps.

The Archepelago of Eastern Palestine

Will his Holiness walk on water - or be transported between the islets of Palestine in Israeli bomb-proof vehicles?
