I don’t believe that any single nationality is ‘pure evil’. There’s good and bad everywhere.

The Zionist project – I do agree, is rather close to unmitigated evil. But even then, some of its supporters are decent people, badly deceived. Some of the most articulate anti-Zionists were themselves once Zionists…

Demonization of large groups of people per se is not helpful, IMO.

Having said that, I personally agree that the evidence Israel and its supporters were behind the 9-11 attacks is quite compelling.

The cheering Israelis on 9-11 that you refer to is no ‘urban myth’.

The famous ‘Jews didn’t go to work’ story is much less clear. However, there’s no doubt the number of Israeli casualties were grossly exagerated; Bush said in a speech a month or so after 9-11 that well over 100 Israelis were killed in the attacks. The true figure, I understand, is roughly two orders of magnitude lower.

As for attacking Iraq, like Australia, the USA was duped. It was clearly a war for the primary benefit of Israel. But sorry, no-one ‘forced’ the USA (or Australia) to go to war. We allowed it to happen.

If people as a whole want peace, we need to raise our game.
