Once again, soldiers of the rogue State of Israel have shown what they think of anyone who doesn’t go along with their supremacist policies.

Tristan Anderson: ISM activist shot by Israeli soldier while protesting The Wall
There’s a video of the shooting of Tristan Anderson, a conservation activist from Oakland, California. It is not for the squeamish. Tristan was protesting Israel’s Apartheid Wall. He’s now unconscious in hospital, his life ‘hanging by a thread‘.
International Solidarity Movement activists are real life heroes who never seem to feature in Hollywood movies. Non-violent resistance to a regime as brutal as this takes extraordinary courage.
The video has been flagged on YouTube as ‘inappropriate for some users’ (such as members of the US Congress?), but you can watch it without signing in on Antony Lowenstein’s blog: This is how Israel is seen.
UPDATE (March 17th 2009)
Tristan underwent surgery to have part of his frontal lobe removed and remains hospitalized in Israel. Encouragingly he responded to a stimulus test on Sunday morning. See Rally planned for Berkeley tree-sitter injured in West Bank protest.
