But go back before 1948 and one can see that Zionists bullied, cheated and blackmailed their way into getting UN agreement to 55% of Palestine - despite a majority Arab population. Then they siezed 78% of the area and expelled hundreds of thousands of Arabs from their new self-declared State. In that respect (and in others), you are right about one thing. The people in South Africa were one sovereign and kept separate because of racist idealogy. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict involves one sovereign involved in a land dispute with hostile enemies that want to destroy it. It is ok for any sovereign power to keep hostile non-citizens out of its country and keep its borders secure. That is not apartheid. It is basic international law.
