		<description>Good piece, Syd. If we&#039;re going to fight this draconian censorship, we need to be familiar with its public advocates.

Never heard of him but Jim Wallace sounds like yet another Christian fundamentalist who, like their Muslim counterparts, seem determined to take us down the road of global religious confrontation. 

I have nothing against religion except when it interferes with my life. I don&#039;t mind the fact that despite being extremely wealthy, the major Christian churches pay no tax. I&#039;m a little worried when our State and Federal Governments underwrite the Christian World Youth Day (or week) with more than $100 million of taxpayer dollars--without consulting the wider electorate about it. But I&#039;m livid about religion trying to impose its set of values on an unwilling public. The notion that in order to be a good person you must be religious is both laughable and insulting. Some of those victims of pedophile priests would doubtless agree.  

It&#039;s the 21st century. Time for some of these bible bashers to grow up.</description>
